MU Online Talisman of Wings Guide – Guarantee Your Wing Result
Every wing combination in MU Online has one painful catch: the result is random. You can burn hundreds of jewels and receive a wing for the wrong class. Wing Talismans exist to fix exactly that — add the matching talisman to the combination in the Chaos Goblin Machine, and on success you are guaranteed to receive that specific wing instead of a random one.
This guide lists every Talisman of Wings, what each one guarantees, and how the newer per-class 4th Wing Talismans work.
How Wing Talismans Work
| Property | Details |
|---|---|
| Effect | Fixes the wing combination result to the talisman's wing — no more random class |
| Success rate | Unchanged — the mix can still fail; the talisman only controls the outcome on success |
| Usage | Place the talisman in the Chaos Goblin Machine together with the normal combination materials |
| Consumed | Yes — the talisman is used up in the combination on most servers |
| Where to get | Cash Shop / X Shop, events, reward boxes and web shops — sources vary by server |
1st Level Wing Talismans
Used in the 1st level wing combination (Chaos Weapon route):
| Image | Talisman | Tier | Guarantees |
|---|---|---|---|
| Talisman of Wings of Satan | 1st level | Wings of Satan (Dark Knight, Magic Gladiator, Slayer) | |
| Talisman of Wings of Heaven | 1st level | Wings of Heaven (Dark Wizard, Magic Gladiator and mage classes) | |
| Talisman of Wings of Elf | 1st level | Wings of Elf (Fairy Elf) | |
| Talisman of Wing of Curse | 1st level | Wings of Curse (Summoner, Dark Lord, Grow Lancer) |
2nd Level Wing Talismans
Used in the 2nd level wing combination (Loch's Feather route):
| Image | Talisman | Tier | Guarantees |
|---|---|---|---|
| Talisman of Wings of Dragon | 2nd level | Wings of Dragon (Blade Knight, Slayer) | |
| Talisman of Wings of Soul | 2nd level | Wings of Soul (Soul Master and mage classes) | |
| Talisman of Wings of Spirits | 2nd level | Wings of Spirit (Muse Elf) | |
| Talisman of Wing of Despair | 2nd level | Wings of Despair (Bloody Summoner) | |
| Talisman of Wings of Darkness | 2nd level | Wings of Darkness (Magic Gladiator) | |
| Talisman of Cape of Emperor (Cape of Lord) | 2nd level cape | The Dark Lord cape combination result |
Naming varies between servers — the Dark Lord cape talisman appears as Talisman of Cape of Lord on official files and Talisman of Cape of Emperor on some private servers, but in both cases it targets the Dark Lord cape mix.
4th Wing Talismans (Per Class)
On Season 19+ servers, the Lv. 4 wing combination gets its own talisman system: one 4th Wing Talisman for every class — Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, Fairy Elf, Magic Gladiator, Dark Lord, Summoner, Rage Fighter, Grow Lancer, Rune Wizard, Slayer, Gun Crusher, White Wizard, Mage, Illusion Knight, Alchemist, Crusader. Add your class's talisman to the Lv. 4 combination and the resulting wing is guaranteed to be for that class.
The 4th Wing Talisman Box lets you pick the talisman of your choice and is a common event and promotion reward — one of the most valuable event items on any Season 19+ server, considering what a wrong-class 4th wing costs you.
Are Wing Talismans Worth It?
Run the numbers: a 1st or 2nd level wing is cheap enough that re-rolling or trading a wrong result is fine — talismans there are a convenience. At the 4th wing tier the math flips completely: one failed class roll costs a 3rd level wing plus weeks of Garuda materials, so a 4th Wing Talisman is worth almost any price your server's market asks. Priority order: 4th Wing Talisman first, 2nd tier talismans if they are cheap, 1st tier only if practically free.

FAQ
Does the talisman make the combination always succeed?
No. Success chance is unchanged — the talisman only decides which wing appears when the mix succeeds.
Is the talisman lost if the combination fails?
On most servers yes, all materials including the talisman are consumed. Check your server's rules.
Are there talismans for 3rd and 5th level wings?
Not in the classic set — 3rd wings stay random, and 5th wings use the Lucky Talisman (a chance booster, not a result-fixer). Some private servers add custom talismans for these tiers.
Where do I buy them?
Historically the Cash Shop; on private servers check the web shop, vote rewards and event calendars.
