MU Online 2nd Level Wings Guide – How to Craft Level 2 Wings
2nd level wings are the natural upgrade after your 1st level wings and a huge jump in power: +32% damage and 25% damage absorption compared to +12%/12% on first wings. They are designed for evolved (2nd class) characters and require level 215 — the class capes require level 180.
This guide lists every 2nd level wing and cape with images and stats, and explains the Loch's Feather crafting process in the Chaos Goblin Machine step by step.

2nd Level Wings Stats
| Property | Wings | Capes |
|---|---|---|
| Required character level | 215 | 180 |
| Damage increase | +32% | +20% |

The Dark Lord's Cape of Lord is special: it can also roll +Command options, which boost the Dark Lord's leadership stat — a well-rolled cape is one of the most valuable early Dark Lord items.
How to Make 2nd Level Wings (Chaos Machine)
1Get a 1st level wing
Any 1st level wing works as the base material — it does not have to match your class, because the result is random anyway. A higher item level and added options on the wing increase the combination success rate, so many players feed a +9 or higher wing into the mix.
2Farm Loch's Feather
Loch's Feather drops from high-level monsters in Icarus — which is exactly why 1st level wings matter, since Icarus can only be entered with wings or a cape equipped. For the Dark Lord's Cape of Lord you need the rarer Crest of Monarch instead of the feather.
3Combine in the Chaos Machine
Bring the materials to the Chaos Goblin Machine in Noria and run the 2nd level wing combination: 1st level wing + Loch's Feather + Jewel of Chaos (plus Zen). On success you receive a random 2nd level wing. With the Crest of Monarch as material, the result is always the Cape of Lord.
Crafting on Modern Servers (Season 18+)
On official servers and newer seasons, use the Chaos Goblin's [Equipment Upgrade/Craft] → Wings (Cape) Craft menu: combine your 1st level wing, feather and materials into a Lv. 2 Wing Divine Object, then run the Lv. 2 Wing (Cape) Combination for a random 2nd level wing or cape. The Help page auto-registers required materials from your inventory.
Is It Worth Crafting 2nd Level Wings?
Absolutely — the jump from +12% to +32% damage is the single biggest wing upgrade in the game relative to cost. Materials are farmable (feathers drop steadily in Icarus), the success rate is far friendlier than 3rd level wings, and a good pair carries you all the way to level 400. If your class evolution quest is done and you are past level 215, this should be your top priority.
Wing Progression Path
The full wing path: small wings (level 1) → 1st level wings (level 150–180) → 2nd level wings (level 215) → 2.5 level wings (level 290, optional) → 3rd level wings (level 400) → 4th level wings (level 800 on the newest seasons).

FAQ
What level do I need for 2nd level wings?
Level 215 for wings, level 180 for the class capes (Cape of Lord, Cape of Fighter, Cloak of Limit).
Where does Loch's Feather drop?
From monsters in Icarus. The Crest of Monarch for the Cape of Lord drops in the same map but much more rarely.
Can I choose which wing I get?
No, the result is random — except the Cape of Lord, which is guaranteed when you mix with the Crest of Monarch.
Do I need my 2nd class evolution first?
Yes — the wings are made for evolved classes (Blade Knight, Soul Master, Muse Elf, Bloody Summoner), so finish the level 150 class quest before you invest.
What comes after 2nd level wings?
Optionally 2.5 level wings (Wings of Chaos, Life, Magic) at level 290, then 3rd level wings at level 400, crafted from your 2nd wing plus rare materials.
