MU Online 2.5 Level Wings Guide – Wings of Chaos, Life & Magic

2.5 level wings — also known as monster wings or premium wings — are a special tier between 2nd level wings and 3rd level wings. The set includes Wings of Chaos, Wings of Life, Wings of Magic and the Cloak of Death for cape classes. They require level 290, beat 2nd level wings in every stat, and unlike regular wings they can drop with Luck.

What makes them special is how you get them: they cannot be crafted with the normal wing combinations. This guide covers their stats, which classes wear them, and every way to obtain them.

All four require character level 290. Exact damage and absorption values can differ slightly between servers — the table shows the standard values used on official servers and most private servers.

How to Get 2.5 Level Wings

2.5 wings cannot be crafted with the regular wing combination. Depending on the server, they are obtained from one or more of these sources:

Boss treasure	On many servers they drop from Kundun in Kalima 7 or from other world bosses and invasion events
Monster Wing Craft	On newer seasons (18+), the Chaos Goblin's [Wings (Cape) Craft] menu has a dedicated Monster Wing (Cape) Combination using materials from boss hunts
Events & promotions	Seasonal events, invasions and GM events often reward 2.5 wings (sometimes as time-limited bound versions)
Cash Shop	On official servers the permanent versions were historically sold as premium items

Check your server's website or Discord for the exact source — drop locations for monster wings are one of the most commonly customized things on private servers.

Are 2.5 Wings Worth It?

If your server makes them farmable — yes, very much. They outclass 2nd level wings in damage, absorption and defense, they can roll Luck (which regular 2nd and 3rd wings cannot), and they carry you comfortably from level 290 all the way to the 3rd wings craft at level 400. Because they usually come from boss hunts rather than jewel-burning Chaos Machine mixes, they are often the most cost-effective wings in the mid game. On servers where they are cash-shop only, treat them as an optional luxury — 2nd level wings will do the job until level 400.

What level do 2.5 wings require?
Level 290 for all four items.

Can 2.5 wings have Luck?
Yes — this is one of their biggest advantages, since regular 2nd and 3rd level wings cannot roll Luck.

Do I lose anything by skipping them?
No. They are an optional side-grade — you can go straight from 2nd level wings to 3rd level wings at 400. But if your server drops them from bosses, they are usually worth farming.

Can 2.5 wings be used to craft 3rd level wings?
No. The 3rd wing combination requires a regular 2nd level wing as material.

What is the Cloak of Death?
The cape version of the 2.5 tier, wearable by Dark Lord, Rage Fighter, Grow Lancer, Illusion Knight and Crusader.
