MU Online Season 21 – Crusader, Imperial Gear & Aquilas Temple
Season 21 (2025–26) is the latest season. It added the Crusader — a holy knight of Lugard wielding a hammer and shield — and the 2nd Legendary Imperial equipment tier above Temple Guard gear. Around them came the Aquilas Temple hunting ground, the Forgotten Raklion elite zone, the 8th Guardian Rhino, a Deep Dungeon renewal, Crywolf improvements and max level 1,750. Rebuilt page-by-page from the original patch notes.
The Crusader
![]() The Crusader — Allen |
Story: in Elbeland served an order of holy knights devoted to Lugard, God of Light. Allen had just become their knight-commander when Kundun's war swept the continent and his order was sent to the fiercest battlefield. Their light techniques cut through Kundun's monsters, but endless waves pushed them back until they stood with their heels at a cliff edge. Allen dropped his weapon, watched his knights fall, and prayed to Lugard in desperation. Lugard's emblem rose into the air and brilliant light enveloped them all — their hearts burned again, Allen raised his weapon, and the losing battle turned into victory. Believing Lugard's light to be his mission, he trains on as a guardian, waiting for the next battle. |

The Crusader's Skills
| Skill | Requirement | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Divine Fall | STR 60 / AGI 29 | A hammer manifested from Lugard's light falls from the sky, damaging enemies. No cooldown. |
| Holy Sweep | STR 420 / AGI 168 | Advances forward while swinging a hammer enlarged by Lugard's power, striking everything in the way. No cooldown. |
| Sacred Impact | STR 1,045 / AGI 418 | Hurls a hammer of light for up to 8 hits, including repeated hits on the same enemy. The thrown hammer is rendered as the hammer you actually have equipped. No cooldown. |
| Lugard's Blessing: Punishment | Level 220 · ENE 200 | Summons Lugard's emblem — the skill attack power of you and party members near the emblem is increased. No cooldown. |
The emblem aura is his signature mechanic — a stationary party buff zone that makes him a strong anchor for a group, on top of his own heavy melee damage.

The Temple Guard Crusader set needs the 5th class change and level 1,500. Its 4-set gives mastery critical and excellent damage, ignore enemy defense +9%, crit and excellent rate +20%, triple damage +16%, mastery max HP, damage reduction and mastery ability-skill attack. Pairing it with the Temple Guard Hammer and Paladin Shield unlocks the Legendary Full-Set: Extra Critical +5%, Extra Excellent +5%, Extra Double Damage +3%, Extra Additional Damage +4%.
2nd Legendary – Progenitor's Imperial
The new top tier. Imperial gear sits above the Temple Guard Legendary line and requires level 1,600. Every Imperial weapon shares the same option block: excellent damage rate +10%, attack/magic speed +7, life and mana on kill, +3.6 attack per 20 levels and a flat +102 attack.

How to craft Imperial gear
![]() Imperial Anvil — 160,000 Ruud | ![]() Imperial Soul — 80,000 Ruud | ![]() Imperial Enhancement Stone |
|---|
Imperial gear is not dropped — you upgrade your 1st Legendary Temple Guard items. Both recipes are 100% success:
| Item | Base material | Special material | Jewels | Zen | Rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Weapon / shield | +15 level, stage 5 Temple Guard weapon or shield | Imperial Anvil — Priest James, 160,000 Ruud | Bless ×30, Soul ×30, Creation ×1, Chaos ×1 | 500,000,000 | 100% |
| Armor | +15 level, stage 5 Temple Guard armor | Imperial Soul — Priest James, 80,000 Ruud | Bless ×30, Soul ×30, Creation ×1, Chaos ×1 | 200,000,000 | 100% |
Weapons keep their stat, Luck and weapon options; armor keeps its stat and Luck options. The result starts again at level 0, stage 1.
| Enhancement path | Materials | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Normal | Imperial Enhancement Stone ×12 + Bless ×1, Soul ×1, Life ×2, 10,000,000 zen | 50% (up to 70% with a Luck option and Charm of Luck) |
| Elite | Shining Imperial Enhancement Stone ×12 | 60% (up to 80% with Luck and Charm of Luck) |
Imperial gear uses the same level 0–15 × stage 1–5 system as Temple Guard, and is never destroyed on failure — so no Chaos Combination Charm is needed. Imperial Enhancement Stones drop in Aquilas Temple; the Shining version is a cash-shop item.
Aquilas Temple
![]() |
Lore: the Kanturu people built Aquilas Temple to worship the Eagle God, using technology beyond other civilisations. Their faith began pure, with offerings of sheep and cattle — but as Kundun's infiltration destabilised the world it curdled, and they began sacrificing the clouded-souled experimental creatures they had made. Unknown energy pooled in the temple. A subordinate of Kundun found it, opened a dimensional gate, and summoned a legion of eagle phantoms that slaughtered every Kanturu inside — they believed the eagles were gods and could not fight back. The entrance was sealed; centuries later the seal weakened, and Priest James now sends MU's warriors in.
| Map | Entry | Enter Lv | Penalty Lv |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aquilas Temple | Move command (50,000 zen) or the entrance at Kanturu Ruins (124, 171) | 1,600 | 1,650 |

| Aquila Gunner | 1,050 | Nuke | Ranged — attacks up to 5 characters |
| Aquila Magician | 1,050 | Wide | Ranged area attack on up to 5 characters |
It drops Imperial Enhancement Stones (the key material for the whole Imperial tier), Imperial Excellent armor, Ability Crystals and Temple Guard Soul Crystals. Its elite zone was later removed when the Forgotten Raklion elite zone opened.

| Earth | 240, 145 | Bleeding + attack speed decrease |
| Wind | 18, 138 | Deadly poison + defense decrease |

As always, elites apply their debuff at 100% chance on any hit, share boss immunities, and can only be resisted with a Guardian's elite resistance option. Their exclusive drops (weekly capped) are Sealed Armor Fragments, Elite Guardian Enhancement Stones, Elite Option Change Fragments, Golden Emblems, Garuda's Flame, Uriel's Feather and Jewels of Harmony.

![]() Rhino's Seal — 50,000 Ruud |
How to get it: upgrade-combine a +11 or higher 7th Guardian (Tauros) at the Lorencia Tamer (122, 110) with a Rhino's Seal (Priest James, Elbeland 32/239, 50,000 Ruud) plus Bless ×20, Soul ×20, Chaos ×1, Creation ×1. 100% at +15, then 90 / 80 / 70% and 60% at +11. Failure consumes the materials and drops the base Guardian to +0; success re-rolls its options, with a low chance of the Rare version. |

The Benevolence Earring is the 9th and highest mastery earring, following Wrath → Ancestor → Honor → Blood → Enchantment → Bond → Verdant → Frigid. Wear the matching left and right pair to activate the set option, and enhance to +15 with cutting stones from the Chaos Goblin.

How to craft it
![]() Benevolence Cutting Mold — 25,000 Ruud |
Base: a Frigid Earring (8th mastery) at +11 to +15. Material: Benevolence Cutting Mold — Priest James, Elbeland (32, 239), 25,000 Ruud. Jewels: Bless ×20, Soul ×20, Chaos ×1, Creation ×1. Where: the Chaos Goblin. Left upgrades into left, right into right; options re-roll to 1–3. |

Crywolf Rebuild
![]() The new Enter button auto-moves you |
|---|
Crywolf was rebuilt around modern levels and made far easier to actually join:
| Change | Detail |
|---|---|
| Elemental monsters | Crywolf monsters are now elemental. Every Thursday one of Fire, Water, Earth, Wind or Dark is picked at random and held for the week — check it on the Crywolf screen of the Event Map & Boss Battle UI. |
| Rebalanced | Monster stats retuned so the event is recommended for level 1,000 characters. The boss Balgass now has debuff immunity. |
| Notification & auto-move | A notification icon appears at the top-left during Crywolf time. Click it to open the integrated UI, then hit Enter to be auto-moved to Crywolf — available to characters level 1,000+. |
| Rewards | No longer dropped on the ground — now delivered through the Gremory Case with a 7-day claim window. |
| Schedule | Altar registration moved to Monday 09:30, and Balgass now spawns 6 minutes 40 seconds after the battle starts instead of 10 minutes. |
![]() The mission briefing | ![]() Progress panel | ![]() Result & ranking |
|---|
| Outcome | Effect |
|---|---|
| Success | Monster HP −10% across the server until the next Crywolf siege, plus a Rank/EXP score and a ranking table |
| Failure | All NPCs inside Crywolf are deleted until the next siege |
The mission itself is unchanged in spirit: defend the Wolf Statue. Only Fairies can contract with the altar and channel power into the statue, so the party has to protect them while they hold the contract.
Monster Soul Converter
The converter tiers were re-pointed at Season 21's level curve. Each tier takes souls from a specific monster list:
| Converter | Recommended level | Required monster souls |
|---|---|---|
| [Lv 1] | 400+ | Destray, Berserker Warrior, Urk Devil Fairy, Nars Devil Fairy, Dark Mammoth, Sapi Queen |
| [Lv 2] | 800+ | Feria Knight, Paraka, Cyclops, Skeleton Warrior Captain, Thunder Lich, Swamp Ent |
| [Lv 3] | 1,150+ | Mine Digger, Bahamut of the Abyss, Scorched Warrior, Crimson Alkamos, Temple Ogre, Ashen Destray |
| [Lv 4] | 1,250+ | Crimson Lycan, Underground Persona, Magma Gladiator, Bloody Mutant, Storm Guard |
| [Lv 5] | 1,500+ | Twisted Crypta, Devil Sword, Shadow Master of Destruction, Aquila Warrior |
Buy a converter from Priest James, kill the listed monsters to fill it, then convert it for reward items. See the Season 14 guide for the original mechanics.
Everything Else in Season 21
Max level rose 1,700 → 1,750, and both the Lv 1,650 and Lv 1,700 season rewards could be claimed — each giving a Muun with ×20 base ability for 30 days:
![]() Alchemist — Lv 1,650 reward | ![]() Crusader — Lv 1,700 reward |
|---|
| Muun | From | Base ability |

| Event map levels | Entry grades were rebalanced — Chaos Castle, Blood Castle, Devil Square and Doppelganger now run to grade 7 (1,600+), and Illusion Temple to grade 5 (1,600+). |
| Boss Battle Together | Boss level raised to 110 with HP up to 145,690,000 and attack, defense and elemental damage all increased. |

He's a durable frontline with the highest starting HP of any class, heavy hammer damage scaling through Combat Power, and a party buff aura in Lugard's Blessing. Sacred Impact's 8 hits make him strong single-target as well as in groups.
Do I need Temple Guard gear before Imperial?
Yes — Imperial is only made by upgrading a +15 level, stage 5 Temple Guard item. There is no other source, so the Season 20 Legendary grind is a hard prerequisite.
Where do I farm Imperial Enhancement Stones?
Aquilas Temple — it's the only drop source, and you need 12 stones per enhancement attempt at 50%. The Shining version from the cash shop raises that to 60%.
