MU Online Rings & Pendants Guide – All Accessories

Accessories are the quiet third of your equipment: two ring slots and one pendant slot that provide elemental resistances and — on excellent versions — some of the strongest utility options in the game. This guide lists every classic ring and pendant, explains how resistance actually works, and covers which excellent options to hunt at each stage.

How Accessories Work

MechanicDetails
Slots2 rings + 1 pendant, all classes
ResistanceChance to resist that element's effect: ice slow, poison drain, lightning stagger. Stacks with the same resistance from other gear
Upgrades+0 to +15 with jewels like any item; resistance grows per level. No Luck or Skill option possible
Excellent versionsDrop from higher monsters and boxes with up to 2 (classic) excellent options — the real value of accessories
Transformation ringsA separate novelty family (Jack O'Lantern, Christmas, Panda rings) that changes appearance and adds small bonuses — event items

Excellent Accessory Options

ItemPossible excellent options
Excellent ringsHP +4% recovery, Mana +4% recovery, Damage Decrease +4%, Reflect Damage +5%, Defense Success Rate +10%, Zen +40%
Excellent pendantsATK/WIZ Speed +7, Excellent DMG Rate +10%, Life-after-monster +HP/8, Mana-after-monster +mana/8, DMG +2%, Zen +40%

The classics: a pair of DD +4% rings (8% total damage decrease) is a budget PvP defense that stays relevant for hundreds of levels, and an attack speed pendant is the cheapest speed breakpoint boost most builds can buy.

What to Wear at Each Stage

Levels 1–150: Ring of Ice + Ring of Poison + Pendant of Fire or Lightning — the resistances matter at low levels and the items cost nothing. Mid game: swap into excellent accessories as they drop; prioritize DD% rings and a speed pendant over resistance. End game: accessories give way to the dedicated systems — earrings carry the accessory load from level 300+, while socket and mastery accessories replace classic rings on newer seasons. The DD% ring pair remains a PvP pocket item forever.

FAQ

Do resistances work in PvP?
Yes — that is their main use. Ice resistance against Soul Master slows and lightning resistance against Energy Elves were the classic counters.

Can accessories have Luck?
No. Rings and pendants never roll Luck or Skill — only their resistance, level and excellent options matter.

Are two of the same ring worth it?
Resistance from two identical rings stacks on classic settings, but suffers diminishing perception — most players prefer two different utilities (e.g. one DD ring + one HP recovery ring).

What replaces accessories at end game?
Earrings (level 300+), then socket/mastery accessories on modern seasons. Classic excellent rings stay useful as swap items.
