MU Online Marlon Quest – Hero Status Guide
The Marlon quest is the level 220 step between your 2nd and 3rd class change. Its reward is the single most valuable thing in the early game: one extra stat point per level, forever.

Who is Marlon and Where Is He?
Marlon is a guard of the Church of Devias. Unlike every other quest NPC he does not stay in one town — he moves at random between four maps:

If he is not in the town you are standing in, move to the next one. Because he relocates, published coordinates are unreliable — walk the town centre of each until you find him.

This is why the Marlon quest matters so much. Over a few hundred levels the extra point per level compounds into hundreds of stat points that other characters never get. Do it the moment you hit 220.
Muse Elf gets a bonus on top: completing Hero Status unlocks the Infinity Arrow skill.
Secret of the Dark Stone
A second, separate Marlon quest. On the official client this is a Blade Knight exclusive that unlocks the Combo skill.

Server note: many private servers widen this quest beyond Blade Knight. Check your own server — if the quest appears in your list, you can take it.
Where to Farm the Ring of Honor
The drop band is monsters level 72–108, which covers a lot of maps. Every monster in these drops it:

At 0.1% per kill, set MU Helper auto-pickup to "Ring" and grind whichever of these you clear fastest.

Where is Marlon in MU Online?
He moves at random between Lorencia, Noria, Devias and Atlans. Check each town until you find him — he has no fixed location.
What does the Marlon quest give you?
+1 stat point per level from level 220 onward, so you gain 6 per level instead of 5. It is the highest-value quest in the mid game.
What level is the Marlon quest?
Level 220, and you must have finished the 2nd class change first. It costs 3,000,000 Zen.
Is the Marlon quest the same as the 3rd class quest?
No. Marlon's Hero Status is its own quest at level 220. The 3rd class change is a separate chain from Apostle Devin at level 380–400 — but you must finish Hero Status before Devin will talk to you.
