Wing Options by Tier
When wings are crafted, they can randomly roll a +Wing Option. The possible rolls differ by tier — this is what separates a market-price wing from a premium one:
| Wings | Options possible | Option pool |
|---|---|---|
| 1st / 2nd / 3rd level wings | Up to one | Restore 100% HP chance +5%, Restore 100% Mana chance +5%, Double DMG chance +5%, Ignore DEF chance +5% |
| 2.5 monster wings | One + Luck | Same pool as above — and the only tier that can also roll Luck |
| 4th level wings | Up to four | Bigger pool with ranges: HP/Mana restore +3–10%, Reflect +3–10%, Ignore DEF +3–10%, Excellent/Double DMG +3–10%, ATK/WIZ Speed +5–12, +10–65 STR/AGI/STA/ENE — plus two elemental options via Adniel |
| 5th level wings | Always two | Full HP/MP recovery +7%, Reflect +7%, Ignore DEF +7%, Excellent/Double DMG +7%, Speed +12, +65 stats — plus the Damage Correction base stat and Wing Core sockets |
Wings can also roll Luck (2.5 tier and premium wings only) and a Jewel of Life option (additional HP recovery) on most tiers. On some servers a wing option can be added manually with a Rare Item Ticket.
Notes & Tips
| Worth knowing | |
|---|---|
| Icarus | The Icarus map can only be entered with wings or a cape equipped — which is why 1st level wings unlock Loch's Feather farming. |
| Capes | There are no tier-1 capes on classic versions — Dark Lord and Rage Fighter historically started their cape line at tier 2. |
| Random results | Every wing combination gives a random wing of the tier. Only Wing Talismans can fix the result. |
| Durability | Wings lose durability in combat and must be repaired — and unlike armor, wing durability also drops when you take hits. |
| Upgrades | All wings upgrade to +15 with Bless and Soul; damage, absorb and defense all scale with the + level. |
Beyond the Tiers
| System | What it does |
|---|---|
| Wing Cores | Socketable upgrades for Lv. 5 wings — flat damage plus elemental options, upgradeable to +15 and never destroyed on failure. |
| Bound Wings | Free event versions of 2nd, 2.5 and 3rd tier wings with identical stats — untradeable, but the fastest catch-up path. |
| Talisman of Wings | Result-fixing talismans that guarantee which wing a combination produces — including per-class 4th Wing Talismans. |
| Wing Relics (1st–5th) | The stackable, tradeable intermediate items of the modern craft system — one relic per tier, each with its own guide. |
FAQ
How many wing levels are there?
Small wings plus five crafted tiers (1st–5th) and the optional 2.5 monster wings. Season 6 servers end at the 3rd tier; Season 17+ adds the 4th, Season 19 Part 2 the 5th.
How do you make wings?
At the Chaos Goblin Machine in Noria — each tier consumes the previous tier's wing plus tier-specific materials. See the tier guides above for exact recipes and rates.
What are the best wings in the game?
Lv. 5 wings with Wing Cores — up to +70% damage and 73% absorb at +15. On classic servers, 3rd level wings are the ceiling.
Do wings drop from monsters?
Only the 2.5 monster wings (Chaos, Life, Magic) drop from bosses on many servers. Everything else is crafted, traded or event-rewarded.
